Delaware North Sportservice is currently hiring seasonal Servers to join their team at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Truist Park is a state-of-the-art ballpark and the home of Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves, with a capacity of 41,500 seats. Delaware North has been managing concessions, premium dining, and restaurants at Truist Park since its opening in 2016, delivering exceptional culinary experiences to fans and visitors. This seasonal role offers team members the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where excellent customer service and hospitality skills are essential.

This opportunity is for a tipped position with hourly pay starting at $5.00, which does not include potential earnings from tips. As a Server at Truist Park, you will be the face of Delaware North’s hospitality, responsible for creating a welcoming environment that enhances each guest’s experience. Your role will involve greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring compliance with all service policies, including the responsible service of alcoholic beverages. Working collaboratively with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and bar personnel, you will uphold the high standards of cleanliness and organization that Delaware North is known for.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as standing, walking, and bending for long periods of time, which may include walking up stairs
  • Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
  • Beneficial if you have one year's experience as a server in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Greet and attend to guests' needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver checks to guests
  • Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff
  • Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning
