This opportunity is a full-time, direct hire position with the exciting responsibility of managing the operational excellence of multiple franchise locations. The role is designed for a driven individual fluent in both Chinese Mandarin and English, with a strong background in restaurant management and business operations. The primary objective is to enhance the front-of-house operations, marketing strategies, and overall guest experience to ensure these franchise restaurants not only meet but exceed industry standards in efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The Restaurant Operation Manager will be instrumental in cultivating a seamless operational flow by developing and enforcing daily procedures, managing inventory, and ensuring that supply chains are robust and responsive. Quality control stands at the forefront, with a keen focus on maintaining impeccable food quality, guest service, and health and safety compliance across all locations. This role requires collaboration with chefs, servers, restaurant managers, and other key departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Further augmenting the position's scope is the responsibility for talent acquisition and training development. The Manager will source new hires, design comprehensive training plans, and foster an environment that motivates employees to excel. Addressing customer feedback with tact and strategic problem-solving will enhance satisfaction and foster customer loyalty. Additionally, the role includes devising promotional campaigns aimed at boosting word-of-mouth referrals and increasing the restaurants' market presence.

This position demands strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of budgeting, cost control, and growth strategies, along with the flexibility to work within a 55-hour, 5-day work week. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential for reporting and analysis duties. The ideal candidate will thrive in a multicultural environment, showcasing adaptability and effective interpersonal communication to engage a diverse team and customer base. This role also involves moderate physical demands, including the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally assist with heavier lifting, alongside routine activities such as walking, standing, and climbing stairs.

Job Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in restaurant operation or similar roles
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • ability to travel locally
  • ability to accommodate flexible working schedule (55-hour, 5-day work week)
  • ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
  • while performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, lift in excess of 30 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear
  • you may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision

Job Qualifications

  • fluent level of Chinese Mandarin language and English language
  • associate’s degree in Business Administration, Management or Marketing or related field
  • strong ability to coach, motivate employees
  • strong knowledge in budgeting, cost control and grow strategies
  • proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

Job Duties

  • oversee restaurants franchise front-of-house operation and marketing decision
  • continuously improve restaurants operational efficiency, quality of service and sales
  • establish and maintain daily operation procedure, inventory control and supply management
  • maintain strict quality control regarding guest experience, food quality, health and safety
  • source new hires and develop training plans to improve performance
  • collaborate closely with chefs, servers, restaurant managers and other department to improve service, food quality and operational efficiency
  • handle any customer complaints and improve satisfaction and loyalty
  • developing promotion programs to improve restaurants word-of-mouth and satisfaction rate
