Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a commercial kitchen is advantageous
- ability to stand for long periods
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- compliance with health and safety regulations
- good physical stamina
- ability to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong attention to detail and presentation
- good communication and teamwork skills
- basic culinary education or certification preferred
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and assemble cold food items including salads, cold appetizers, and desserts
- stock the kitchen and line with essential ingredients and supplies
- adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ensure high quality and presentation standards for all chilled dishes
- maintain a clean and organized work station
- collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion
- monitor inventory levels and report shortages
