- demonstrated experience in food service, preferred in child care setting
- must pass all state required background checks

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children from infancy to school-age
- have in-depth knowledge of food processing and safety with the ability to operate standard and commercial kitchen equipment
- maintain the highest standard of food and kitchen hygiene to keep the center's kitchen clean and safe
- collaborate with childcare providers to coordinate meal plans
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling
- manage kitchen inventory and supplies
- assist in menu planning to accommodate dietary restrictions
