The Housekeeping Aide plays a vital role by ensuring that all areas of the childcare center, including classrooms, playgrounds, and restrooms, are kept fresh and hygienic. Responsibilities include performing essential janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and managing trash collection. The Housekeeping Aide also assists in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls, ensuring that the educational setting remains safe and inviting. Moreover, the role extends to supporting the atmosphere by putting up and taking down seasonal decorations and displays, helping to create a festive and welcoming environment throughout the year.

- Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly
- Complete janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, window and restroom cleaning
- Gather and empty trash
- Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls
- Refill restroom dispensers
- Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays
- Maintain a hygienic environment to promote children's safety and learning
