Job Requirements
- Work experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
- Willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations
- Flexibility regarding work hours and schedule
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cooking or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility preferred
- Knowledge of nutritional meal planning
- Ability to follow state and federal health and safety regulations
- Good organizational skills
- Flexibility in work hours and schedule
- Willingness to assist in classroom activities
Job Duties
- Create home-style nutritional meal plans within the school menu and budget
- Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff
- Distribute food to classrooms
- Follow daily menu incorporating USDA and health regulations
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies
- Order food and supplies as needed
- Assist in classrooms as assistant teacher or floater
