Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • high school degree or GED
  • relevant experience in child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen
  • food handlers permit or ServSafe certification
  • pass state and company background checks
  • comply with immunization and health screening requirements
  • ability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • willingness to support both kitchen operations and classroom engagement

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff
  • keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
  • manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals
  • clean and comply with sanitation requirements
  • engage with children in the classroom by supporting teaching and learning activities
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • collaborate with the team to create a nurturing environment
