The Food Service Worker role at Aramark plays a vital part in maintaining high standards of food quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. This position involves assisting the manager with food and meal preparation, maintaining cash receipts and meal records, and supporting the completion of daily reports to ensure accurate transaction verification. Food Service Workers must prepare quality food and baked goods in accordance with planned menus, properly store food items to meet sanitary standards, and serve meals following strict departmental policies and schedules. Close coordination with the Manager is necessary each day to understand the menu requirements, supervise food temperatures, and ensure timely preparation and presentation that keeps customers satisfied.

Responsibilities extend beyond cooking and serving; Food Service Workers also actively participate in the upkeep of the kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, refrigerators, freezers, counters, and floors, adhering rigorously to established cleanliness and safety protocols. The role may require physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking, as well as adhering to uniform policies and usage of personal protective equipment. Job Requirements

  • Food Service Certificate as needed
  • sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
  • physical ability to perform duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing
  • willingness to adhere to uniform policy and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • availability to coordinate daily with management
  • adherence to food safety regulations

Job Duties
