The Delivery Driver role at Chick-fil-A Chesterfield Plaza is integral to the restaurant's promise of outstanding hospitality and guest satisfaction. The driver will be responsible for delivering food orders safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service. This position requires someone who is friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoys engaging with customers. Team members in this role are entrusted with not only representing Chick-fil-A’s quality products but also embodying its values of care, respect, and integrity. The delivery driver will be equipped with vehicles and gas provided by the restaurant, although those using personal vehicles will receive a $1 per delivery allowance. Employees will keep 100% of their tips, enjoy a flexible schedule with no work on Sundays, and receive a $10.50 daily meal allowance when on break. Competitive pay starts at $13 per hour and can go up to $17 per hour based on experience and tenure. Health insurance is also offered as part of the employee benefits package.

This is a full-time or part-time position, dependent on the candidate’s availability and scheduling preferences. The ideal applicant must meet certain requirements, including having a valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past three years, reliable transportation and proof of insurance, the ability to lift and carry loads between 10 to 60 pounds, and be at least 19 years old. Ability to communicate effectively in English and maintain flexible availability, including Saturdays, are essential. The delivery driver must be adept at operating the delivery app on a smartphone to ensure seamless order management and communication. The role also demands adherence to all safety protocols and company policies as outlined in the Team Member Handbook.

Beyond the primary responsibilities of delivering meals, the driver will also support in-store activities whenever there are no active deliveries. These duties include greeting customers, managing cash transactions, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring all food packaging and presentation meet Chick-fil-A’s high standards.
