Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • serve safe certification
  • prior food service experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
  • ability to follow instructions accurately

  • must be able to handle kitchen environments with potential hazards

Job Duties

  • Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products
  • coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager
  • cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions
  • use accurate portions when preparing and serving items
  • maintain daily temperature logs
  • take samples of all food items before serving customers
  • alert management and remove food items that do not meet quality standards
  • complete opening and closing station checklists
  • greet customers and handle complaints with a positive attitude
  • maintain clean work stations and sanitized utensils
  • dispose of waste accurately
  • transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • assist with daily safety observations and report hazards
  • cross-train in various areas
  • work in concessions, catering, and special events as needed
  • complete tasks requested by supervisors or management
  • lead and advise employees on the line to ensure timely service
  • request support for sanitation issues as needed
