The role of QC Analytical Technician at NAI involves performing routine analysis of raw materials, in-process bulk, finished products, and stability samples using various analytical methodologies, including chromatography, spectroscopy, and both physical and chemical separation techniques. The individual in this position is responsible for conducting tests such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), High-Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography (HPTLC), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS), Ultraviolet Spectroscopy (UV), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Karl Fisher titration, and methods conforming to the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) monographs. Beyond conducting these routine procedures, the technician must maintain accuracy and precision while preparing samples, standards, and reagents, handling chemicals safely, and ensuring quality control documentation is meticulously completed.

Additionally, the technician supports laboratory operations by managing chemical and supplies inventory, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, troubleshooting instrument errors, and communicating testing progress to management and lab coordinators. The role involves data processing, ensuring peer reviews are completed for accuracy, and finalizing reports to meet compliance standards. The job requires a detail-oriented and quality-minded professional capable of multitasking and adapting to workflow changes while meeting deadlines.
