The Chef position at RAM Restaurant and Brewery is integral to maintaining the superior quality and consistency for which the restaurant is known. As a Chef, you will be at the heart of the culinary operations, ensuring every dish meets exacting standards and every guest leaves with an exceptional experience. This role goes beyond cooking; it involves leadership in all kitchen functions including hiring, training, production, service, and accounting. Job Requirements

  • Formal culinary training and two years of chef experience or equivalent kitchen experience
  • One year leadership, managerial or related experience
  • Basic math skills and ability to conduct accurate inventory counts
  • Positive attitude
  • Food and beer knowledge or ability to become an expert
  • Must have or be able to obtain a food handlers permit for required positions
  • Excellent verbal communication and personal skills
  • Ability and stamina to spend an extended amount of time on feet
  • Experience in high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Willingness to work weekends
  • Passion to serve both guests and team
