The company manages a range of senior living facilities, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for older adults through dedicated care, innovative programs, and supportive environments. One of their premier communities, Aurora on France, located in Edina, MN, is a state-of-the-art senior living center attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital. This important role is responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to standardized recipes designed to meet the high culinary standards of the community. The position is integral to ensuring residents receive nutritious, visually appealing meals that enhance their dining experience and overall well-being. The Cook/Chef will work collaboratively with the Culinary Director, assisting with the supervision and training of culinary staff to maintain quality and consistency across all meal services.

The role involves preparing meals that are both safe and healthy, requiring the individual to handle food in compliance with established policies on infection control and safety standards. This position works approximately 55 hours every two weeks, covering days and evenings with shifts scheduled every other weekend. The Cook/Chef will be responsible for setting up the meal service line, ensuring timely delivery of meals, and maintaining cleanliness by sanitizing all equipment and work areas after each use. The individual will also participate in special events to support the broader culinary needs of the community.

Ebenezer emphasizes employee development and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverages, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, retirement plans, and more.
