Job Requirements

  • work requires a minimum of five years restaurant experience including exposure to all facets of the field such as steakhouses and italian cuisines
  • work requires a minimum of two years supervisory experience
  • work requires the ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time
  • work requires a neat appearance with good personal hygiene
  • work requires effective communication in english both verbal and written form in a professional manner
  • must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • must be able to lift, pull, or push 25 lbs
  • must be able to twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundaries
  • this position may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • ensure that all product preparation is done in accordance with the set procedures and meets quality standards
  • assist the executive chef/cdc to ensure the restaurant meets hotel and state health standards for food preparation at all times
  • reviews all orders submitted to the restaurant and inform the staff of requested products and time frames
  • completes inventory and recommend products to be ordered
  • provides the executive chef/cdc with the information needed to adequately stock bake shop supplies
  • corrects improperly prepared items
  • reviews and approves daily payroll sheet in the executive pastry chef's absence
