Job Requirements
- Education at the A.S. degree level or equivalent experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and related tools
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to work in a high volume kitchen environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training and client satisfaction activities
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience is a plus
- Experience with high volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls
- Experienced with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, E-mail, and Internet
- ServSafe certification is highly desirable
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly culinary associates
- Ensure food quality, sanitation, and presentation standards
- Support ordering and inventory management
