Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant culinary experience
- experience in kitchen management
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong leadership and communication skills
- proficient in computer applications
- willingness to engage in client satisfaction activities
- ServSafe certified desirable
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- some progressive culinary and kitchen management experience depending on formal degree or training
- catering experience
- high volume, complex foodservice operations experience
- institutional and batch cooking experience
- knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet applications
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and controlling expenditures for the account
- assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- supervise and train hourly associates
- ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- support ordering and inventory management
