Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of culinary management experience
- hands-on chef experience
- computer literacy including MS Office
- ability to manage scheduling, discipline, and hiring
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to perform high volume batch cooking and complex food operations
Job Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of culinary management experience
- experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations
- hands-on chef experience
- extensive catering experience preferred
- high volume batch cooking and complex food service operations experience preferred
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- computer skills including knowledge of MS Office products like Excel
- associate's degree in Culinary Arts preferred
Job Duties
- provide frontline culinary resources and support
- assist with food cost control, menu planning, purchasing, and ensure food quality guidelines are followed
- assist with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
- assist with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- perform other duties as assigned
