Job Description

Naked Farmer is a pioneering farm-to-table restaurant group with multiple locations across Florida, dedicated to delivering scratch-made, healthy, and affordable meals. The company celebrates the seasonality of vegetables and embraces innovation, striving to build a sustainable food system that strengthens the connection between local farmers and the community. Founded during the challenges of a global pandemic, Naked Farmer has rapidly adapted, innovating in fresh food delivery and maintaining high culinary standards. The company is committed to becoming 100% locally sourced while expanding its presence with new locations across Tampa Bay and South Florida. Currently, with six operational restaurants, Naked Farmer plans to open an additional six locations over the next 18 months, solidifying its mission of transparency, sustainability, and community support. Employee satisfaction is a priority, reflected by complementary daily meals and an inclusive, vibrant work culture.

The role of Chef Operator at Naked Farmer offers a unique and rewarding opportunity for an entrepreneurial and performance-driven culinary leader. This role carries full accountability for the restaurant's culinary excellence, team leadership, financial performance, guest experience, and the consistent execution of brand standards within a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment. The Chef Operator will play a pivotal role in reopening the St. Pete, FL location, rebuilding its culture, and developing a high-performing, motivated team. Beyond just managing day-to-day operations, the Chef Operator is expected to adopt a visionary and strategic mindset, advancing operational discipline to ensure sustained success. They will direct the culinary team, nurture and mentor staff to enhance their culinary skills, and foster future leadership within the kitchen. The role demands adaptability, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to operational challenges, including technology and health regulation compliance. Collaborating closely with managerial peers such as the Chef de Cuisine, Culinary Director, and Controller, the Chef Operator ensures all aspects of the restaurant—from quality assurance to reporting and guest satisfaction—are expertly managed. This leadership position also focuses on cultivating a welcoming and accountable restaurant culture that aligns with Naked Farmer’s values of sustainability, innovation, and community engagement. Benefits include a competitive salary, profit-sharing incentives, health insurance options, paid vacation, and career progression opportunities in a thriving, growing company.
