Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
  • Experience managing staff in compliance with collective bargaining agreements preferred
  • Experience working in a high-volume luxury bar preferred
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Strong knowledge of beverage products and mixology techniques
  • Commitment to maintaining health and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Culinary Institute or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
  • Previous experience working in a bar in a high-volume luxury restaurant preferred

Job Duties

  • Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, training programs, directives, bar menus, rules and regulations for the bar staff
  • Owns department execution of food and beverage and company-wide initiatives and programs
  • Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness within all areas of the bar
  • Responsible for completion of all company compliance training for staff
  • Review, create and develop new bar menu items and concepts to remain current with food trends and marketplace and is responsible for promoting bar/mixology department through marketing
  • Manages human resources responsibilities to include creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
  • quality hiring, training and succession planning process that encompass the company’s diversity commitment
  • compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements
  • Interacts with internal/external guests to ensure satisfaction and product quality
  • Reacts to any feedback on guest complaints and takes any appropriate action
  • Maintains excellent knowledge of property’s beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties
