As a Chef Manager at Whitsons within the healthcare nutrition team, you will be a pivotal figure in leading kitchen operations that directly contribute to the healing process. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in culinary management including hospital or healthcare food service
  • Strong cooking skills with focus on batch and modified diets
  • Knowledge of healthcare dietary requirements and food safety protocols
  • ServSafe certification
  • College or culinary degree preferred
  • Ability to supervise and train team members
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand most of the day and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
  • Willingness to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and travel to multiple sites
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • College or culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of high volume food service management experience
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Knowledge of healthcare dietary requirements and food safety protocols
  • Strong cooking skills focused on batch cooking and modified diets
  • Compassionate leadership and team-building abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software programs

Job Duties
