Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of experience in kitchen operations or culinary leadership
- Proven ability to prepare and cook meals meeting quality and dietary standards
- Ability to supervise and lead kitchen staff effectively
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in kitchen operations, culinary leadership, or hospitality
- Experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, Chef Manager, or similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of food preparation, kitchen workflow, and safety standards
- Comfortable working hands-on in the kitchen daily while leading and supporting a team
- Strong organization and time management skills
- ServSafe certification or similar food safety certification preferred
- Reliable, team-oriented, and service-focused mindset
Job Duties
- Lead daily kitchen operations and meal service execution
- Prepare and cook meals alongside the team in alignment with menu standards and dietary needs
- Supervise and support kitchen staff, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service
- Manage inventory, ordering, and basic food cost control
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Support scheduling and day-to-day team coordination
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Assist with special events, themed meals, and community functions
