This opportunity is for the role of Chef Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager. The Chef Manager position is a critical leadership role that combines culinary expertise with management skills and a commitment to customer service excellence. This role goes beyond just preparing food—it is about creating memorable food experiences while fostering a safe and positive kitchen environment. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach to team development, overseeing the training and management of kitchen personnel to ensure culinary activities are executed efficiently and at the highest standards. You will be responsible for planning and pricing menus, selecting and developing recipes, standardizing production processes, and setting presentation and quality benchmarks that consistently delight customers.
In addition to culinary duties, the Chef Manager will oversee kitchen safety protocols and maintain equipment operation and sanitation standards to comply with health regulations. As a key player in client relations, you will help deliver exceptional customer service experiences by ensuring the kitchen team supports the overall goals of the business. Budget management forms a vital aspect of this role, requiring the ability to estimate food consumption accurately and manage purchases to meet financial targets. The Chef Manager will also participate in the execution of company programs and occasional special catering events, potentially providing culinary demonstrations and instruction.
