Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles
  • Experience in contract foodservice or fine dining
  • Ability to manage inventory and purchasing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for sustainability
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Strong expertise in inventory management and purchasing control
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with emphasis on quality, sanitation, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Understanding of P&L accountability and contract-managed service
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary and food service operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Develop menus with a focus on cost control and local food sourcing
  • Implement and oversee food cost controls and purchasing procedures
  • Ensure food quality, production, and sanitation standards are consistently met
  • Lead and mentor culinary and service staff to achieve operational excellence
  • Maintain knowledge of P&L accountability and manage contract services effectively
  • Promote sustainability initiatives within culinary practices
