As the Chef/Manager, you will oversee the entire kitchen area, ensuring efficient operation aligned with budgetary constraints and organizational goals. Your leadership will be crucial in hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff, purchasing ingredients and supplies, and maintaining strict compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols.\n\nYou will be responsible for coordinating all food production activities including recipe adherence, portion control, and proper cooking techniques to ensure that food quality remains top-notch. Your role also includes maintaining food temperature standards through regular checks and keeping detailed logs to comply with safety regulations. A significant aspect of your duties is to uphold the company’s standards for food presentation, speed of service, and overall kitchen cleanliness. By managing these diverse responsibilities, you will play a central role in delivering an excellent dining experience to our customers and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • assist general manager in managing all production requirements following recipes
  • safe food handling principles in a sanitary and professional manner
  • manage and cultivate team to perform up to standards set forth by management
  • coordinate all cooking, prepping, etc. of skillet station according to production schedule
  • be proficient in recipe procedure, measurement conformity, cooking techniques
  • perform temperature checks during production period to ensure food is being held and prepared at correct temperatures
  • maintain all logs
  • follow and manage sanitation requirements as prescribed by head chef or director
  • assist in implementation and follow-up on sanitation cleaning schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
  • complete and submit weekly payroll accurately and efficiently
  • assist with production in cold pantry station when applicable
  • conduct weekly kitchen meetings to be attended by all kitchen personnel
