As a subsidiary of Compass Group USA, Eurest boasts an innovative and fast-growing environment where quality, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence are at the forefront of its operations. Serving more than 16,000 chefs and in-unit associates, Eurest takes pride in providing world-class meals in corporate cafes, executive dining rooms, on-site catering, and through vending innovations. Their focus on high performance and continued growth ensures that team members are provided with limitless opportunities for career advancement and professional development. Joining Eurest means being part of a vibrant workforce that thrives on delivering unparalleled results in exciting locations with prominent clients.
The company offers a rewarding career path for those who are passionate about culinary excellence, operational efficiency, and superior guest service. One of the key roles within Eurest is the Chef Manager position, which is an exceptional opportunity for culinary professionals looking to grow within corporate dining. The Chef Manager is responsible for leading a highly skilled culinary team that supports a professional client environment, with a strong emphasis on food quality, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction. This role operates at the intersection of culinary creativity, business acumen, and client collaboration, making it both challenging and rewarding.
The successful candidate for the Chef Manager role will be entrusted with managing the full culinary operations of a corporate dining account. This includes overseeing inventory management, ordering, receiving, and daily food production. Ensuring rigorous compliance with safety, sanitation, and corporate standards is paramount to sustaining both operational success and regulatory adherence. The Chef Manager will also develop and execute innovative seasonal menus guided by considerations of quality, cost control, and local ingredient sourcing, reflecting Eurest’s commitment to sustainability and fresh offerings.
Moreover, the Chef Manager serves as a key liaison, partnering directly with senior leadership at client organizations to plan catering events, executive dining experiences, and special programs that meet exacting standards. The role demands a keen understanding of financial performance, including managing profit and loss, food cost controls, and labor efficiency to ensure the culinary operation’s profitability and sustainability.
This position encourages collaboration across multi-unit leadership, regional teams, and various cost center leaders, nurturing a team environment built on inclusive, fair, and empathetic leadership principles. Staying informed on current corporate dining and catering trends and maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards are essential to this role. Additionally, the Chef Manager will support high-profile conference services and catering operations as needed.
Eurest values work-life balance, employee well-being, and a culture of safety and compliance, making this an attractive position for individuals who prioritize these principles. With a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $85,000 per year and a pay grade of 11, along with an extensive benefits package, Eurest stands out as an employer of choice for culinary leaders seeking both challenge and growth within a national organization committed to service excellence and innovation.
