Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year management experience
  • ability to work late evenings and weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • passion for culinary innovation
  • ability to train and develop staff
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Job Qualifications

  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • experience in high-volume food service
  • knowledge of special diets and allergens
  • familiarity with sodexo food management system preferred

Job Duties

  • manage the daily food production including production planning and controls
  • ensure sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • manage food costing, controls and compliance
  • develop menus and manage inventory
  • have high expectations for customer service and quality of food
  • develop and train frontline employees
  • manage late evening and weekend residential dining operations
