With a strong presence across multiple industries including healthcare, education, corporate, and hospitality, Sodexo focuses on delivering exceptional service combined with innovative solutions. The company is committed to sustainability, diversity, and inclusion, fostering a supportive and respectful work environment where all employees can thrive. Sodexo's comprehensive approach ensures not only the satisfaction of its customers but also the well-being and growth of its workforce.

This role is for a Chef Manager at Sodexo, supporting Food & Nutrition Services operations at Hawaii's premier acute-care rehabilitation hospital. The Chef Manager plays a critical role in delivering high-quality meals and an exceptional dining experience to patients, residents, employees, and guests. This position requires strong leadership skills as you will be overseeing and training production staff, ensuring the consistency of food quality and safety. Working closely with the General Manager, you will support daily operational activities, helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

As a Chef Manager, you will also contribute to the growth of the hospital's food service offerings by assisting in the development and implementation of new retail and catering concepts aimed at boosting sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your role involves maintaining compliance with Sodexo’s internal standards, healthcare regulations, and safety protocols, which are paramount in a healthcare environment.

Beyond operational duties, this role offers an opportunity to demonstrate creativity and innovation in menu planning and concept development. The position demands a commitment to excellence in food service and customer satisfaction, ensuring that the unique dietary and nutritional needs of hospital patients and residents are met with care and professionalism.

The compensation is competitive and equitable, influenced by candidates’ education level, experience, and skills. Sodexo provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision care, wellness programs, and opportunities for career growth such as tuition reimbursement and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions. Paid time off and company holidays are also part of the package, reflecting Sodexo’s commitment to work-life balance.

Sodexo is an inclusive employer valuing diversity, ensuring all employees are treated with respect and fairness. The company fosters an environment where employees’ ideas and opinions count, helping to build a stronger, happier team. Equal employment opportunities are provided without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.

Joining Sodexo as a Chef Manager is more than a job — it is a chance to be a part of a company that impacts communities positively and contributes to enhancing everyday experiences. You will work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment that encourages professional growth and personal satisfaction, making a tangible difference in the healthcare setting through culinary excellence and leadership.
