Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant culinary qualification preferred
  • Minimum of three years of culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of inventory and purchasing controls
  • Ability to develop and manage menus
  • Proficiency in kitchen operations and staff leadership
  • Strong understanding of food cost controls and sanitation practices
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in business and industry or corporate dining
  • Working knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
  • At least three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, sanitation, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Understanding of P&L responsibilities and contract-managed service operations

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Develop and implement menus focusing on local food sourcing and sustainability
  • Oversee cost controls, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and food safety regulations
  • Lead and develop kitchen and foodservice staff
  • Maintain P&L accountability and service contract management
  • Utilize exposition cooking techniques to enhance food presentation and quality
