The role of Chef Manager at Belmont Village Senior Living is a vital leadership position within the community dining program. As the Chef Manager, you will take a hands-on approach to meal preparation when needed, working closely with both front of house and back of house teams to deliver a hospitality-oriented dining experience that consistently surpasses the expectations of residents and guests. The position requires selecting, training, and developing culinary talent, fostering a state-of-the-art kitchen that supports creativity and operational excellence. - must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- ability to work flexible schedule as the needs of the dining program require
- demonstrated successful use of technology in the workplace including MS Office and POS
- minimum two years comparable kitchen managerial experience with five years experience in volume cooking
- consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community

Job Duties
- Oversee food service compliance while ensuring exceptional quality and productivity by effectively scheduling and coordinating kitchen staff operations
- ensure recipe consistency and adherence to company standards while showcasing culinary creativity for special event menu planning
- drive resident and guest satisfaction through clear communication, superior meal preparation, and outstanding dining service
- manage food ordering and equipment inventory to minimize waste, control costs, and maintain budget compliance
- build a positive workplace culture by training employees in safety protocols, food handling, and kitchen cleanliness, while applying company policies fairly and consistently
- collaborate with community leadership, regional teams, and corporate support to align with organizational goals
- lead staffing efforts, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, coaching, employee training, and task delegation
