As the Chef Manager at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be an integral part of this dynamic community, directly influencing the dining experience through hands-on involvement in meal preparation and culinary management. This role balances leadership duties with active participation in the kitchen, working closely with both front of house and back of house teams to maintain a hospitality-focused dining program that consistently exceeds the expectations of residents and guests. The Chef Manager is responsible for selecting, training, and nurturing culinary talent within a state-of-the-art kitchen, ensuring that the food served not only meets but surpasses quality standards while fostering a warm, restaurant-style dining atmosphere.

Your leadership will be vital in driving high standards for food service compliance, recipe consistency, and creative menu planning for special events. You'll be expected to communicate effectively to boost resident and guest satisfaction, streamline kitchen operations through efficient scheduling and inventory management, and cultivate a positive workplace culture anchored in safety, cleanliness, and professional growth. Supported by knowledgeable Regional and Corporate teams, you will contribute to a culture of collaboration and excellence in dining and hospitality.

This opportunity calls for a passionate culinary professional with a minimum of two years of kitchen managerial experience and at least five years in high-volume cooking environments. Formal culinary training and certification like ServSafe are essential, alongside strong communication skills and technological proficiency with tools such as MS Office and POS systems. Flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to consistent attendance are also key to ensuring the smooth operation of Belmont Village communities.

Belmont Village Senior Living values servant leadership and offers a supportive workplace aligned with core values like trust, respect, teamwork, dignity, integrity, ownership, and learning. The company is proud to offer substantial opportunities for career advancement within its expanding network. As part of the Belmont Village team, you will play a crucial role in enriching the lives of seniors through culinary excellence and compassionate service, delivering an outstanding dining experience every day.
