The Chef Manager role at Belmont Village Senior Living is a pivotal leadership position that combines culinary expertise with team management and resident engagement. In this hands-on position, the Chef Manager is responsible for meal preparation as needed and works closely with both front of house and back of house teams to uphold a hospitality-oriented dining program that exceeds the expectations of residents and guests. This role requires overseeing food service compliance, maintaining high standards of recipe accuracy and culinary creativity, and ensuring superior meal preparation and dining service. The Chef Manager also manages food ordering and equipment inventories to control costs and reduce waste, all while adhering to budgetary constraints.   • formal culinary training through degree or certificate program
  • must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • ability to work flexible schedule as the needs of the dining program require
  • demonstrated successful use of technology in the workplace including MS Office and POS
  • minimum two years comparable kitchen managerial experience with five years experience in volume cooking
  • consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
