Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe certificate
  • formal culinary training through degree or certificate program
  • must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • ability to work flexible schedule as needs require
  • demonstrated successful use of technology in the workplace including MS Office and POS
  • minimum two years comparable kitchen managerial experience
  • minimum five years experience in volume cooking
  • consistent and reliable attendance

Job Duties

  • Oversee food service compliance while scheduling and coordinating kitchen staff operations
  • ensure recipe consistency and adherence to company standards while planning special event menus
  • drive resident and guest satisfaction through clear communication and outstanding dining service
  • manage food ordering and equipment inventory to control costs and minimize waste
  • train employees in safety protocols, food handling, and kitchen cleanliness
  • collaborate with community leadership, regional teams, and corporate support to align goals
  • lead staffing efforts including interviewing, hiring, performance management, coaching, training, and task delegation
