With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and community involvement, Aramark continuously strives to make a positive impact not only for its clients and customers but also for its employees and the communities it serves.

The role of Chef Manager at Aramark is a dynamic and integral position that combines culinary expertise with leadership and operational management. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Chef Manager is entrusted with the responsibility to deliver exceptional food experiences and outstanding customer service. This role involves hands-on involvement in the kitchen to oversee and coordinate all culinary activities, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety are consistently met.

As Chef Manager, you will lead, train, and supervise kitchen personnel, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on development, skill enhancement, and efficiency. You will play a key role in recipe development and standardization, menu pricing and planning, and managing food consumption estimates to control costs and maintain budget compliance. Ensuring that kitchen equipment is properly operated and maintained, alongside enforcing rigorous safety and sanitation protocols, will be critical to your daily responsibilities.

Beyond the kitchen, the Chef Manager will also be involved in overseeing special catering events, providing culinary instruction, and demonstrating cooking techniques to staff and clients when needed. This position demands a blend of practical culinary knowledge, strong communication skills, and adeptness in people management to resolve issues and motivate the team.

Working at Aramark means being part of a company that values personal growth, offers diverse opportunities for advancement, and fosters an inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive. The Chef Manager role is pivotal in delivering Aramark's mission to serve great food while ensuring operational excellence and a positive dining experience.
