Job Description

Creative Dining Services is a renowned hospitality company that partners with a diverse range of institutions including colleges, universities, Fortune 100 companies, senior living communities, conference centers, K-12 schools, and camps to deliver innovative and community-focused dining experiences. Known for its commitment to quality, fun, and meaningful food service, Creative Dining Services creates environments where food brings people together, fostering community and connection through carefully crafted meals and impeccable service. The company prides itself on delivering hospitality that not only meets but exceeds expectations in a variety of settings, emphasizing both culinary excellence and the guest experience.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Chef Manager to lead the culinary operations at Geneva Camp, a vibrant, community-centered environment where hospitality and guest experience unite to create memorable dining occasions. This role is perfect for a culinary professional who thrives in a hands-on leadership position and is passionate about both kitchen execution and team development. The Chef Manager will work closely with the on-site food service director to oversee daily dining operations, ensuring culinary excellence, operational precision, and the cultivation of a positive, high-performance team culture.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the camp's menus, elevating food quality, and coaching a diverse culinary team. As a hands-on leader, you will be actively involved in food preparation, quality control, and presentation, while also strategically managing kitchen operations to uphold the highest standards. The Chef Manager will champion culinary quality by implementing and maintaining rigorous standards across all food production, presentation, and service areas, ensuring that every meal served is both delicious and visually appealing.

This role demands a leader who combines operational excellence with people leadership, fostering a positive team environment and consistently delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for thoughtful planning, organized execution, and a service mindset that builds strong relationships with guests and supports the ongoing success of the camp's dining program. Ensuring full compliance with all federal, state, and local health and safety regulations is a critical aspect of this position, as is the responsible management of resources through smart menu planning, accurate forecasting, and diligent adherence to purchasing policies and sustainability goals.

Joining Creative Dining Services as a Chef Manager at Geneva Camp means becoming part of a company that values hospitality and quality above all else. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a vibrant community, bringing creativity, consistency, and leadership to a dynamic culinary environment. This position offers competitive pay and bonus opportunities, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and more benefits designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being. As an Equal Opportunity Employer and Veteran-Friendly organization, Creative Dining Services welcomes diverse candidates who share our passion for exceptional dining experiences and community connection.
