Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of three years culinary management experience
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Ability to manage inventory and purchasing
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Passion for sustainability and local food sourcing
- ServSafe certification is preferred
- Ability to perform essential functions of the role with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant setting
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- Experience with exposition cooking
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage the culinary and food service operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
- Develop menus focusing on local food sourcing and sustainability
- Implement cost controls and purchasing strategies
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP
- Oversee sanitation, food quality, and presentation
- Manage P&L accountability for contract-managed services
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff ensuring operational excellence
