Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years culinary management experience
  • Proven experience in inventory and purchasing control
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare foodservice environment
  • Passion for sustainability and local food sourcing
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Minimum three years culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing control
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, sanitation, presentation, and cost control
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of profit and loss accountability and contract-managed services
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Oversee menu development with focus on cost control and local sourcing
  • Apply knowledge of profit and loss accountability in daily operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP
  • Lead sustainability initiatives within the culinary operation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high quality production
  • Manage food cost controls and purchasing to optimize budget
