The position of Chef Manager at Sodexo is a critical leadership role within the healthcare sector, specifically overseeing the food, housekeeping, and linen distribution services for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, located in Lafayette, LA. This medical center is a comprehensive facility comprising a main hospital with 200 beds, a Women’s and Children’s Hospital with 110 beds plus 50 NICU beds, and a specialized Heart Hospital with 30 beds. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, the largest locally owned, not-for-profit health system in Louisiana, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center represents a high-standard healthcare provider focused on patient care excellence and community well-being.

Within this role, you will manage the Facility Management Services (FMS) food platform and ensure strict adherence to HACCP and sanitation processes alongside Ecosure readiness. Providing exceptional leadership and direction to culinary employees, the Chef Manager ensures customer satisfaction and retention by maintaining high-quality food services. Daily operations include overseeing retail and patient culinary services at various units, guaranteeing employees are well-equipped with necessary tools, inventory, and resources to meet operational objectives. You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day work activities, including delegating authority, assigning tasks, scheduling, prioritizing activities, and monitoring standards to uphold operational excellence.

Job Requirements
