The role of Chef Manager at the Minnesota Twins Player Development Academy, located in Fort Meyers, FL, is a unique and exciting opportunity for culinary professionals who have a passion for sports and culinary excellence. This full-time position demands a hands-on leader capable of managing multiple facets of food service operations, including purchasing, menu compliance, inventory management, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting. The Chef Manager is instrumental in ensuring that Sodexo culinary standards are upheld, including strict adherence to recipe compliance and food quality to consistently deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Beyond the routine operational duties, the Chef Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering team development and culinary innovation, inspiring and motivating kitchen staff to embrace new food trends and techniques. Safety remains a priority, with responsibilities encompassing food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. The position also requires proficiency with automated systems related to inventory, ordering, and production management, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all culinary processes.   • manage purchasing activities to maintain cost efficiency
  • analyze food cost reports and adjust operations accordingly
  • forecast food production needs based on player development schedules
