The Chef Manager role at Aramark is critical to delivering exceptional culinary experiences while ensuring operational excellence in kitchen management. They play a vital part in managing budgets and helping to achieve company goals while delivering high-quality food service. Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in culinary management
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge
  • knowledge of SERV Safe certification or HACCP
  • culinary arts degree is a plus
  • experience with production systems
  • ability to manage and lead a kitchen team
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • commitment to food safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Requires at least 2 years experience in a culinary management role
  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • culinary arts degree desired
  • SERV Safe certification or HACCP knowledge required
  • experience with production systems is preferred

Job Duties

  • Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities
  • estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
  • select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus
  • ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
  • oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques
