With a strong focus on community enrichment, ownership mindset, and excellence in food and service, Eurest continues to drive success through innovation and a customer-focused approach.

The Chef position at Eurest, located at ASML Cymer in San Diego, California, represents a full-time opportunity to join a dynamic team within this esteemed organization. This role is essential for maintaining the high culinary standards and operational excellence expected from Eurest. The Chef will have responsibilities that extend beyond food preparation — involving supervising kitchen associates, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and overseeing inventory and ordering processes. This position demands a versatile culinary professional who can manage multiple stations efficiently while maintaining the quality and presentation of all food items.

In this role, the Chef will lead and coordinate kitchen activities, ensuring all meals meet quality, taste, and safety standards. The position requires a balance of leadership skills and hands-on culinary expertise, including preparation of dishes according to standardized recipes to meet production schedules and customer expectations. Attention to detail is critical as this role involves tracking food usage, controlling waste, and maintaining equipment sanitation. The Chef will also be involved in recipe and menu development, contributing to the innovation and appeal of the food offerings.

Eurest is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where diversity of thought and experience are valued to foster success. The full-time schedule typically operates Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary, and compensation ranges from $22.00 to $23.50 per hour. The company encourages applications through an online process and offers an internal employee referral bonus as an additional incentive.

This role offers a rewarding career path with opportunities to grow professionally within a reputable global company. Eurest supports its workforce with comprehensive benefits that include retirement plans, health and wellness programs, identity theft protection, and numerous voluntary insurance options. Full-time employees also gain access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, commuter benefits, and flexible spending accounts, enhancing the overall employee experience.

Joining Eurest means becoming part of a team that not only values culinary excellence but also emphasizes community involvement and continuous learning. The Chef role is critical to driving the success of Eurest’s foodservice operations and making a positive impact on the dining experiences of its clients and guests. This is a unique opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about food, leadership, and innovation to contribute to a respected industry leader.
