The role of Executive Chef Support is integral to Levy's mission to provide exceptional culinary experiences. This individual will work closely under the Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring every aspect from food preparation to kitchen management aligns with Levy’s standards for safety, sanitation, and quality. The position involves directing staff in preparing high-quality meals that meet the company's corporate guidelines, while actively participating in key operational areas such as inventory management, cost control, and culinary program development. The role also includes leadership responsibilities where motivating, training, and managing back-of-house employees are vital to maintaining a seamless kitchen output.
The Executive Chef Support acts as a vital link between the culinary team and management by implementing new culinary initiatives developed in conjunction with marketing and culinary teams, driving innovation, and enhancing the customer dining experience. This position is demanding, requiring culinary expertise across a variety of kitchen roles and the ability to think quickly in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with cost management, food product standards, and technology, including Microsoft Office and email applications, is essential for successful execution. This role also prioritizes excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration among kitchen staff and other departments.

Job Requirements
- Education in culinary arts or related field
- 3-5 years of culinary experience
- Mastery in various kitchen stations
- Knowledge of food cost management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate team
- Commitment to sanitation and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- B.S. degree in culinary arts, food services technology/management, or related field
- or A.O.S. degree in culinary arts with additional specialized training
- 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience
- Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations
- Ability to think on their feet, as well as create, produce, and serve on the fly
- Knowledge of food cost and how it pertains to a kitchen, product and quality identification
- Must be experienced with computers
- to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills
Job Duties
- Ensure that high quality food items are creatively prepared and presented in a cost effective manner
- Assist in all phases of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation
- Support the management of cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams
- Supervise co-workers to ensure the cleanliness, organization, and overall sanitation of the kitchen
- Motivate, train, develop, and direct the back of house employees preparing and cooking foods to accomplish the objectives of the operation
- Perform other duties as assigned
