The position available is a skilled culinary role responsible for preparing special meals and substitute items, ensuring all food is cooked and presented according to recipe and quality standards. This role requires managing food temperatures, thawing items properly, maintaining food logs, and monitoring food quality and quantity meticulously. The culinary professional will play an active part in communicating kitchen needs and menu updates to both the management and food and beverage service staff, ensuring efficient operations especially during busy periods. Additionally, this role supports the management team in various human resource functions including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching team members to maintain a motivated and high-performing kitchen staff. The candidate must adhere to all company policies focusing on safety and security, report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions, complete necessary safety training, and maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.

This position is ideal for individuals with at least three years of related culinary experience, preferably those who have attended a technical, trade, or vocational school. While supervisory experience is not required, the role entails assisting management in overseeing team operations and serving as a role model within the kitchen. The job involves physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The candidate must exhibit strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to confidentiality and protecting company assets.

Job Requirements
