The brand emphasizes investing in its employees, fostering a world-class employee experience and a company culture grounded in respect, inclusiveness, and continuous growth. At Four Seasons, team members are inspired to push their limits, grow professionally, and treat one another with kindness and fairness. This dedication is reflected in the positive impressions guests consistently enjoy across all Four Seasons locations.
Located in a prime downtown position on the banks of the Mississippi River, Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans offers riverfront luxury in one of America’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities. This landmark tower represents a heritage icon where guests can enjoy innovative Louisiana cuisine at the Chemin a la Mer restaurant, relax by the resort-style pool, and celebrate special occasions on the 34th-floor observation deck, which affords stunning views of the city. The hotel blends traditional New Orleans charm with sophisticated design and premium amenities, making it a premier destination for travelers seeking a luxurious, authentic experience.
The Chef De Partie role at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is an exciting entry-level leadership position within the dynamic Chemin a la Mer Restaurant team. This opportunity serves as a starting point for culinary professionals aspiring to build a remarkable career within the Four Seasons brand. As a Chef De Partie, you will take on the responsibility of preparing exquisite breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes that meet exacting guest expectations and operational standards. Roles include ensuring safety, cleanliness, and culinary excellence, while leading and inspiring a high-performing culinary team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving smooth kitchen operations, overseeing preparation to presentation, and contributing to a culture of excellence and care. This includes maintaining impeccable food safety and sanitation standards and optimizing resource efficiency to minimize waste. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and attention to detail are essential to delivering consistently outstanding and beautifully crafted dishes. Flexibility in work schedule is expected, with shifts that may include mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Four Seasons values employees who hold certifications such as ServSafe and bring a minimum of two years of culinary or related field experience. Advanced culinary kitchen skills and previous supervisory experience are preferred and contribute to success in this leadership role. As part of the company’s commitment to employee well-being, a comprehensive benefits package, including a matching 401k program, medical benefits, paid sick and vacation days, and holiday pay (including Mardi Gras), is offered. The work environment fosters training, development, and opportunities to advance within the company, alongside additional perks like discounted accommodations at other Four Seasons properties worldwide, complimentary dry cleaning, employee meals, and parking discounts.
Four Seasons is committed to equal opportunity and encourages minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities to apply. This role represents a rewarding career step for culinary talents ready to join a respected brand where they can grow, learn, and contribute to creating unforgettable guest experiences.
