The company is renowned for its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and fostering a supportive, inclusive work environment where employees are encouraged to grow and develop their careers.
This particular role is based in Mascot, Sydney, focusing on providing exemplary culinary services within some of Australia's most exclusive airport lounges. These lounges cater to discerning travelers who expect luxury, sophistication, and impeccable service standards. As a Chef de Partie, you will be an integral part of a dynamic lounge team that consistently delivers first-class hospitality to both local and international guests. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation, reflecting the importance of the role within Compass Group's operations.
The Chef de Partie will work Monday to Friday primarily during early morning shifts from 12:30 AM to 8:30 AM, ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality catering services that meet Compass Group's exacting standards. The role involves close collaboration with Head Chefs and kitchen teams to ensure the smooth running of food production, with an emphasis on using premium ingredients and maintaining exceptional food hygiene and safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified chef who is passionate about food and eager to thrive in a low-stress but high-expectation environment that values respect and inclusivity.
The role is designed for a professional who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced culinary setting. It offers clear pathways for career growth within Compass Group, supported by ongoing training and development opportunities. Employees in this role will benefit from a respectful work culture, the chance to develop new skills, and the prospect of moving into diverse culinary and leadership positions within the company. Uniforms and staff meals are provided, underscoring Compass Group's commitment to employee welfare.
In addition to professional development, the Chef de Partie will play a key role in upholding occupational health and safety compliance and implementing effective waste management practices to support the company’s ecological and social responsibilities. Working in prestigious airport lounges, the Chef de Partie ensures guests receive not only outstanding food but also an overall superior customer service experience. This role is perfect for chefs eager to work in a global company with a reputation for excellence and a strong commitment to sustainable and socially responsible business practices.
