Job Description
The Vineta Hotel is an iconic establishment located in the heart of Palm Beach, a vibrant area renowned for its artistic culture, luxury boutiques, exceptional dining, and beautiful beaches. With a rich history dating back 100 years, The Vineta was originally established in 1926 and has been restored to its original Mediterranean Revival architecture, symbolizing elegance and historical significance in the region. Recently renovated, the hotel proudly reopens as the first property in the United States to join the prestigious Oetker Hotels portfolio, highlighting its commitment to providing world-class luxury hospitality and dining experiences. The location, just two blocks away from the famous Worth Avenue, positions The Vineta Hotel as a central hub for both leisure and business travelers seeking refined accommodation and excellent services in Palm Beach.
The Vineta Hotel invites passionate and dedicated culinary professionals to join their team and embark on an exciting career journey within the esteemed Oetker Hotels network. The position available is that of Chef de Partie, a critical role within their culinary team responsible for managing a particular section of the kitchen. This role goes beyond cooking to include maintaining high standards of food quality, creativity, and presentation while ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently in a fast-paced luxury environment. The Chef de Partie will work closely with the Executive and Sous Chefs to develop new menu items and maintain seasonal offerings that resonate with the hotel’s luxury brand. This is a full-time role that requires proficiency in English and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position offers competitive salary packages along with a comprehensive set of employee benefits, including health insurance and opportunities for professional growth and development within the Oetker Hotels family.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least three years of professional culinary experience with a substantial portion spent as a Chef de Partie or a similar position in a fine dining or luxury hotel setting. Formal culinary education is preferred but not mandatory if equivalent experience is demonstrated. A strong understanding of food safety standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are essential. This role offers the chance to work in a beautifully restored historic hotel with a luxurious and artistic ambiance, offering a unique professional experience in the hospitality industry while contributing to the hotel’s legacy of exceptional guest service and cuisine.
