Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work in person at Miami Beach location
- Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen workload
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration
Job Qualifications
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within restaurant or food industry settings
- Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward continuous learning and growth
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure accurate meal presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours, serving guests promptly and courteously
