This exciting opportunity is for a Chef de Partie who will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of the kitchen and contributing to the overall success of Verbena. The Chef de Partie will act as a quality assurance specialist by thoroughly inspecting deliveries to ensure quality, quantity, and stringent adherence to food safety standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience preferably in high-volume or hotel settings
  • HACCP certification
  • food handler card
  • proficient spoken English
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • strong knowledge of food safety regulations including City of Austin standards
  • excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Possess HACCP certification and Food Handler Card
  • hold a degree in Culinary Arts Hotel and Restaurant Management or related fields
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in high-end high-volume dining with preference for hotel experience
  • high-level proficiency in spoken English basic verbal Spanish communication is a plus
  • willingness to work a range of shifts including weekends
