Job Requirements
- Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma
- at least three years of related work experience
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to stretch above head and below knees including bending, twisting, and stooping
- ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted
- compliance with company safety and appearance standards
- clear and professional communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to support team and respond appropriately to workplace concerns
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma
- at least three years of related work experience
- no supervisory experience required
- no license or certification required
Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or substitute products
- regulate oven, grill, and broiler temperatures
- remove foods from freezer to thaw in refrigerator
- ensure proper portioning, distribution, and garnishing of food
- maintain food records
- control the quality and quantity of prepared food
- communicate assistance needs during busy periods
- report surplus food items to kitchen management for daily specials
- inform food and beverage staff of rejected products and available specials
- ensure the quality of food products
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
- prepare cold dishes
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and training employees
- serve as a role model
- comply with all safety and company procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- conduct safety training and obtain certifications
- maintain clean and professional appearance and uniform
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- anticipate and meet guest service needs
- communicate clearly and professionally
- build and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers
- support team goals
- appropriately respond to employee concerns
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
