Job Description

Montage International is a distinguished luxury hospitality company that operates premier hotels and resorts known for their exceptional service and unique experiences. The company cultivates a culture where passion, creativity, and personal growth are deeply valued, encouraging employees to pursue their love for their craft within an inspiring workplace environment. With a commitment to inclusivity and diversity, Montage International ensures all applicants have equal opportunities and provides reasonable accommodations during the hiring process to support people with disabilities. The organization fosters a strong sense of community and well-being among its workforce, believing that every team member contributes to the creation of memorable guest experiences. This focus on a supportive, engaging work environment reflects in their renowned properties, including the Pendry hotel brand, where innovation and guest satisfaction take center stage.

The Chef de Partie position at Pendry, a luxury hotel brand under Montage International, presents a rewarding career opportunity for culinary professionals who crave immersion in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen. This role focuses on leading culinary efforts by coordinating kitchen staff, creatively developing menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety are consistently met. As part of the Pendry team, the Chef de Partie is not simply a cook but a vital contributor to an environment where creativity, teamwork, and guest experience intersect. The position emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and growth—offering a chance to guide junior kitchen associates while innovating within a top-tier hospitality setting. Employees in this role can expect a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays, and will enjoy benefits such as healthcare, retirement savings plans with company matching, and hotel discounts. The hourly wage for this role is set at $25, exclusive of additional incentives like gratuities or commissions.

Pendry's kitchen environment champions attention to detail along with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace adhering to regulatory health standards. The Chef de Partie will oversee stock management, inventory control, and waste minimization practices while inspiring a team culture that prioritizes excellence and guest satisfaction. This role requires not only technical culinary expertise but also a passion for developing oneself and others within a collaborative, inclusive atmosphere. The ability to adapt to physically demanding conditions in varying temperatures, manage lifting and moving heavy equipment, and maintain stamina throughout long shifts rounds out the essential demands of the position. Ultimately, the Chef de Partie at Pendry is called upon to create not just meals but memorable dining experiences that align with Montage International's ethos of living your passion and adding your magic to every moment.
