We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our esteemed Abigail Kirsch team at the Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown, New York. This is a full-time position offering an hourly wage ranging between $23 and $25, commensurate with experience. The Chef de Partie role is essential in maintaining the high standards of food quality and presentation that Abigail Kirsch is known for at catering events and banquets.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items in accordance with brand standards. Your role will involve following detailed recipes and event-specific instructions meticulously to ensure consistent and accurate culinary output. Additionally, you will demonstrate expert knife skills crucial for precise ingredient preparation and efficient kitchen operations. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will work closely with fellow chefs, cooks, and front-of-house teams to guarantee seamless event executions.
The position demands excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks under the pressure of busy event schedules. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with all food safety regulations is a critical aspect of your responsibilities.
